Some R&B for the ladies...............

Raybone aka RB, an Atlanta, GA native, is redefining the genre of R&B music by staying true to the old school vocals and style that once guided R&B to the forefront of popular music. The music world will be turned upside down by Raybone’s aka RB ability to display his passion for his craft/talent. Raybone received his start as a producer with a distinct and creative sound. Although he was comfortable using his skills in the background, he was encouraged by peers to step into the limelight and share his talent with the world. As a result of past relationships, the future album "X-POSED" is literally a caption of Raybone’s aka RB soul on a musical canvas.

"The most fulfilling way to express myself is through my singing", says Raybone aka RB. He found his love for music at the tender age of 5 while singing in church. After building his confidence and receiving encouragement from his mother and church family, he showcased his voice in different venues such as talent shows and night clubs. His unique style has afforded him the opportunity to perform in multiple venues throughout the years. Raybone aka RB has also worked with musical greats such as Eric Benet and Keith Sweat. He performed alongside Eric Benet at a live performance and sang background vocals on Keith Sweat’s 2000 album "Didn’t See Me Coming". Like many in the Entertainment Industry, Raybone aka RB did not gain success on the first try. He has experienced many industry related "flops", but his no quit attitude carried him through it all. Today, Raybone aka RB can boldly proclaim that he is doing what he was born to do as an R & B artist. His music is filled with creative lyrics and melodies that are displayed with an unadulterated expression. T here is no doubt the originality of this grown and sexy superstar will bring a new edge to R&B music.

Twinkle Twinkle Video Shoot Behind The Scene

Who is THE REAL FREEWAY RICKY ROSS??!!

Donnell Ross, better known as “Freeway” Ricky Ross, is one of those rare figures whose experience as a drug trafficker has lead him to a life of rebuilding the community in which he once helped destroy. Now, with a passion for helping the youth, Ross has been given a second chance to uplift his community by giving back through mentoring and sharing his story. He plans to inspire many of today’s youths to achieve their greatest successes without following in his footsteps.
He was a key figure in filmmaker Kevin Booth’s documentary American Drug War: The Last White Hope as well as the second episode of the first season of BET’s American Gangster documentary series which focused on his story and his connection to the Iran-Contra scandal.
Recognized as a pawn in the CIA drug game, Ross was a pioneer in the crack cocaine trade in Los Angeles, as well as other parts of the U.S. A renowned drug dealer, Ross harvested millions as an unknowing participant of Central Intelligence Agency and U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency operatives, who provided him with unlimited amounts of cocaine. It was said that his suppliers used the profits to pay for the CIA-spawned Contra war against Nicaragua's leftist government in the 1980s. His connections were first revealed in a series of articles published by the San Jose Mercury News and in court testimony.
As a youth, Donnell Ross moved to South Central Los Angeles with his mother with the intent of playing tennis which he pursued a scholarship while attending high school. Unfortunately, his coach would later find out he was illiterate and removed him from the school. Ross then attended Los Angeles Trade Technical College and again pursued tennis, reaching the 3rd spot on the team. Shortly after, at the early age of 19, Ross said a teacher, who taught at a job center, turned him on to cocaine. Because he looked up to him, Ross started selling cocaine for him. The money was good so he ended up starting his own business. His operation grew and he soon became one of the biggest cocaine dealers in South Central.
During the height of his drug dealing, Ross was said to have made 2-3 million dollars a week. In 1996, he was sentenced to life imprisonment after being convicted of trying to purchase more than 100 kilograms of cocaine from a federal agent. Ross became the subject of controversy later that year when a series of articles by journalist Gary Webb in the San Jose Mercury News brought to light a connection between one of Ross's cocaine sources, Danilo Blandon, and the CIA as part of the Iran-Contra scandal. The decision in his case was brought to a federal court of appeals where his sentence was reduced to 20 years and then reduced further for being a model inmate. He was then moved to a halfway house in California in the spring of 2009 where he was released on September 29, 2009.

Today, Ross is a new found man. For many, having a role model only happens once or twice in a lifetime, but not for him. According to Ross, he has had numerous role models as they have changed dependent on what was going on in his life at the time. He has looked up to gangbangers as well as Arthur Ashe, but today, he is an admirer of Napoleon Hill. In all actuality, he has developed into a mentally strong individual and believes that people should, “Do things the way they want and be their own role models.”

Five years from now, he sees himself, “…on the top of the world,” as he, too, plans to be a role model.
The legacy he wants to leave behind is to be known as an inspirational mentor to people in need rather than the old “Freeway” Ricky Ross. He plans to make life better for people around him and to continue to love his family. On Saturday, November 7, 2009, society was reintroduced to the Real “Freeway” Ricky Ross, in St. Louis, MO, by way of Manasseh Ministry’s 3rd Annual EXMAD Celebration which is designed for Ex-Offenders who are now making a difference in communities.

Alwayz Reppin VA...K. Harrell

Classic Crew Records is an independent record label owned by Faction Media. Based in southeastern Virginia, the label was founded in 2007 and is headed by CEO Kenny Harrell. Classic Crew Records seeks talent from various entertainment sources. Artists, producers, choreographers, designers, comics, models, poets, and personalities are sought out by the label to help create awareness and visibility along with opportunities for both parties. Hip Hop and RnB/Soul are the labels two primary genres with Gospel being its tertiary genre. When recuriting talent Classic Crew Records will not initially look to sign an artist. Believing in independence and artistic control, the label will provide artists and other independent labels information and education on cross branding, content ownership, and the primary services needed to function within their genre. By offering joint ventures to their carefully selected recruits will give both parties the opportunity to build budgets, fan bases, and sales to later branch out on their own. Situated in Virginia, Classic Crew Records is in the thick of it all. A ten hour drive or two hour flight either direction makes it easy for the label to reach out to various regions and major markets like Atlanta, GA and Detroit, MI or vital college routes such as the Carolinas to the Tri-State. Primarily looking to uphold Virginia's reputation as a hotbed for trendsetting styles and music, CEO Kenny Harrell is looking to test international waters also. He has already collaborated with rap artists from Russia and plans to turn to the overseas market for budding talent and product placement.

Harrell plans to set the pace for the label as an artist with the first two installments of the label's mixtape series, "Sixteens Or Better". The first vol., Pay ya Dues, is K. Harrell's way of showing his lyrical ability while simutaneously upping the ante for word play, and showcasing various deliveris. The second volume, "The New Industry Standard" the budding CEO will continue to taunt competitors with more braggadocious rhymes. It's obvious to see that K.Harrell has a distinct voice and style, but his influences stem from a variety of artists. Of course all the greats, as well as underrated underground stars such as Big L, AZ, Mac Mall, Yukmouth, all peaked his intrest in Hip Hop. Rather than continuing to adlib his favorite bars from various hip sources, K. Harrell would begin to craft his own lyrics. Keeping his hidden passion for rhyming to himself, he would turn to Hip Hop for motivation and inspiration to fuel his first love which was basketball. Although K.Harrell usually found himself within arms length of the streets he remained focused to have a successful college basketball career. Like any young male black, white, or latino, he would have minor brushes with the law. Drawing from his life expierences and relationships with people of all walks, look for K.Harrell to execute more conceptual records that will touch on popular topics as well as unexplored issues that the average rap artists fail to address. Fully aware that location is everything, look for Harrell to seemlessly fit in from up top, to down bottom, all the way to the left coast. Growing up in Newport News, VA ("Bad Newz") exposed him to different styles of hip hop from  back beating 808's to the swinging triplet kicks and snare smack of east coast rap. Having an ear for music, look for co-production, songwriting, and original arrangement from this multi-faceted talent. Out of necessity the VA native wil sport the emcee hat for a short stint, before quietly fading to the background as his artist roster and label brand grows.

Keep up with K.Harrell and Classic Crew Records by checking in at www.fizzkicks.com/classiccrewrecords
Upadated photos, music exclusives, video, and other info necessarily not available on any other site will be exclusivey added here atfizzkicks.com/classiccrewrecords
